Spring into a Fresh Start

Spring is my favorite time of the year! I know a lot of people get there fresh start at the beginning of the year, the new year means new beginnings and all that. I live in Wisconsin so it doesn't start to look like Spring until March or April. The snow starts to melt and the world starts to become green again, it's a fresh start! It's inspiring and is the perfect time for new beginnings.

I am going to be 100% honest with you guys. The past two months have been ROUGH. I feel bad saying that because  nothing life shattering has happened to me.  I have my health, I have my family, generally life is wonderful. Great things are happening actually. That's why things have been a bit rough, I have been going and going and going and going. As many of you know I added Event Planning to my business and also help start an amazing networking group for female entrepreneurs, Empower + Create. All of this on top of a full time job mind you! There is a busy spell at work and then events took off. As many of us do I put my needs on the back burner. I stopped working out so I could get to work earlier, I stayed up late so I could work on events, and it all quickly piled up. I had a cold that lasted over a month! I physically started feeling crummy... I haven't been taking care of myself! Why am I telling you all of this?? Because there is a light at the end of the tunnel! It's time for a new beginning.

Kase Styles has quickly evolved into a full time gig. It's become a business that now can sustain me not only financially but creatively! I am so excited to put all that I have into it. I gave my notice at work, I gave a two month notice because I like my job, I like the people I work with, and I didn't want to leave them in a bad spot. I wanted to finish out all of my projects. It's been a rough two months, but this week is my last photo-shoot.

April 1 will be my fresh start and my new beginning! I am so excited to take the oppurtunity to not only focus on my business, but to take this chance to focus on ME again. I never thought I would but I I cut my hair (I haven't cut it in over six years besides a trim!) and I had it lightened. A fresh new look for a fresh new beginning! It's time to get into a new routine, one that has my needs somewhere in the mix.

Im so excited to spring into my fresh start!

Has spring inspired anyone else to start a new?
