Why Should I hire a Wedding Planner?
Kase Styles is here to help you every step of the way through the planning process. For many couples, this is the first time planning a wedding and there is a lot more to it than you think! Planning a wedding can be very overwhelming, and Kase Styles is here to release that pressure. We aren't here to take over, but to facilitate and be a liaison for you when ever you need it. Planning a wedding is much more than picking colors, flowers, vendors, and menu. There are a lot of logistics that go into it, and many things that are done behind the scenes. We are here to walk you through the process and make sure you can be as care free on your wedding day as possible.
My Venue has a coordinator, why do I need a wedding planner?
It's very beneficial to have a venue coordinator, they will coordinate all things pertaining to the VENUE. At Kase Styles we help with EVERYTHING to do with your event or wedding, which means we will give you price comparisons for venues, photographers, florists, hair and makeup, a bakery, etc... We are here for YOU.
Do you get any incentives or kick backs from vendors you recommend?
Absolutely not! We recommend vendors that we believe will be the best fit for your event, your style, and your budget. We do like to refer some of our favorite vendors even if they are on the higher end, because we stand behind their work, and each couples priorities are different. Photography might be your top priority or a professional DJ. We want to give you a well rounded list and recommendations we stand behind from all price ranges. We will not be offended if you don't go with our recommendations and only want what's best for you and your event!
How involved will i need to be?
This is completely up to you! You can be as involved or not involved as you'd like. We just need to figure out from the beginning what you need from us and what we need from you. Our goal is to make your event about YOU so we will need you to make the final decisions. We can offer up recommendations and suggestions and LOVE helping plan the style of your big day, but ultimately we want the wedding or event to represent you.
If you love to do research and want to go out and research on your own that's fine, just make sure you let us know so we aren't doubling up on work. If we are doing the full service planning we prefer to be the contact with the vendors to ensure they aren't trying to communicate to two people and to ensure things don't get missed! We also want to take care of the communication so you don't have to :) If you already have a relationship with your vendors and want to maintain communication with them, we totally understand.
Will you be mad if I change my mind on what i want?
Absolutely not! We want you to be as happy as possible and ensure everything is exactly how you want it. Wedding planning is a long process and we understand that you are going to change your mind about what you want! We just ask you communicate this with us so that we don't confirm things with vendors before your mind is made up. Some vendor contracts are not able to be adjusted, but we will do anything we can to ensure your needs are met even if you change your mind. We ask you to be flexible with us as well as we are often at the discretion of the vendors. If you tell us you want something we will make it happen so we just ask that we are all on the same page on the direction you want to go in. Communication is key!
What is wedding stylings?
With so much available at our fingertips (Eh hem, Pinterest) it's easy to get lost in ideas. That's where Kase Styles come in. We take all your ideas and curate it into one cohesive design. If you are looking for engaging content, a stylish + chic event, or need help honing in on your style, Kase Styles is the one stop shop for you.
Do you do all the decorating?
We coordinate with the vendors and create a PDF of the wedding design so we ensure everyone is on the same page. We are there during set-up and take-down to make sure all the vendors are there and are setting up how we had planned. We do not do all the decorating as we need to be as available as possible should anyone need anything. We rely heavily on the vendors for their areas of expertise such as the florist setting up florals, the bakery setting up dessert, the caterer setting up the food, etc... we make sure it all comes together in one cohesive design and are there to assist. It's definitely a team effort! We do offer set-up and take-down at an additional charge as we will hire help. We want to make sure we are there every step of the way, but also are available to ensure your needs are being met.
What do you do during the reception when you're done coordinating our ceremony, dances, cake cutting, etc..?
During the reception we make sure that everything is taken care of. If we are no longer on a timeline we make sure we are there to assist any vendors that may need help. We take your gifts and guest book to your room or car. We make sure the DJ has everything he needs for the last dance. We ensure transportation has shown up, whatever we need to do, we are there until the very end! We are there for take-down even if that's coming back the next day to ensure everything is taken care of, and you can enjoy your gift opening or take off on your honeymoon!
