Zeihen jefferson streen inn wedding

Two back-to-back weddings for one couple? Yes, please. Come see how we were able to pull off two totally unique events—using the same flowers. (Consider these floral re-arrangements)

We had the pleasure of working with Stef and Hussain to plan their wedding weekend in Wausau, WI.  A wedding scheduled for 7 months out got bumped up 3 months to better accommodate family and travel, so we hit the ground running at full speed with just over 3 months to plan back-to-back events!  We were so excited to work with Stef and Hussain and although they were hundreds of miles away, we stayed connected using our planning documents, email, and skype, so they were actively involved every step of the way!  It was important for Stef + Hussain to include their families and friends in the blending of their families, and they wanted everyone to enjoy their weekend in Wausau stress-free.  The couple had family and friends fly in from all over the world: from California to Texas, and even India!

The first event was the Western Wedding held at First Presbyterian Church then Jefferson Street Inn, both located in downtown Wausau.  Stef was a classic beauty in her a-line white dress, while Husain looked dashing in his royal blue suit.  Peonies were in season and were the perfect choice to incorporate an elegant pop of color:  we chose pink and white.  It was a hot day which caused the flowers to open up really big!

Following the church ceremony, Madison Meredith Photography took the group to a local park along the Wisconsin River for some gorgeous photos, while their guests enjoyed a cocktail hour back at The Jefferson Street Inn.  A candlelit walkway led their guests from cocktail hour to the ballroom where string lights hung from the ceiling, and tables were set with candles, lanterns, and lush pink and white flower arrangements.

Hussain welcomed their family and friends with a thoughtful speech, and guests shared memories of the couple  to get the couple to kiss during dinner, as opposed to the traditional glass-clinking.  The room was full of love and laughter and was the perfect segue into a night of dancing!

Because we had back-to-back events for the same couple and guests, we wanted to make each event unique while also getting the most out of the rentals and team of vendors.  Stef + Hussain had the same DJs and Photographers for both events, and we were able to repurpose some flowers from Friday’s event to new arrangements for Saturday's event (aka KaseStyle’s first Indian wedding)!

We asked the KS team to plan not only one, but two events in less than four months. We had an illness in the family and wanted to make sure my Grandfather could partake in the events. The KS team was up for the challenge. Not only did they plan two events, but they reused the flowers from the first event and made brand new arrangements for the second event. All the guests were completely astonished with how each event was so different, not only from each other but from any event they’d been to! We are so grateful to the KS team for everything they did in such a short period of time.
